You may not remember much of your visit (which many patients appreciate!), and you’ll need a trusted friend or family member to drive you home afterward. This option is especially great for longer treatments or patients who need multiple procedures in fewer visits.
Laughing Gas – Gentle, Fast, and Worry-Free
Also known as nitrous oxide, this light sedation option is perfect for patients who want to feel relaxed without lingering effects. We place a soft mask over your nose, and within minutes, you’ll feel light, calm, and even a little giggly.
The best part? The effects wear off as soon as we turn it off. You’ll feel normal before leaving the chair—and you can drive yourself home. It’s ideal for kids, teens, or anyone needing a little help taking the edge off.
IV Sedation – For Deep Relaxation & Complex Care
For patients with more intense anxiety—or when treatment is longer or more complex—IV sedation offers more profound, more customized relaxation. Medication is gently administered through your bloodstream to help you feel deeply calm, detached, and safe throughout your visit.
Most patients remember very little or nothing at all from their appointments, and complex treatments often seem to go by quickly. We bring licensed sedation specialists to ensure your comfort and safety. And yes, you’ll need someone to drive you home and stay with you as you recover.
